Stop The Excise Tax

Maura Healey is pushing a bill through the legislature that would allow cities and towns to triple your auto excise tax. It’s called the Municipal Empowerment Act. It ought to be called the Watch Your Wallet Act. If that bill passes, cities and towns will be able to triple the auto excise tax on working families.
