BOSTON, MA —Today, Marine Corps Veteran, successful business leader, and proven government reformer Brian Shortsleeve, Republican candidate for governor announced that State Representative John Marsi (R–6th Worcester) has endorsed his campaign for Governor of Massachusetts.
“After listening to the recent forum on WBZ, it is clear that one candidate is ready to take on Maura Healey and win. We need Brian Shortsleeve to lead the ticket and save our state from Healey’s costly policies. I am proud to officially endorse his candidacy,” said Representative John Marsi. “Massachusetts families are being squeezed by rising costs and a state government that keeps growing. Brian Shortsleeve understands what’s driving the affordability crisis and has the experience to fix it. He’s focused on making Massachusetts competitive again, holding Beacon Hill accountable and delivering for the people of the Commonwealth.”
Shortsleeve welcomed Marsi’s endorsement and said voters are ready for a change in direction.
“Representative Marsi knows firsthand how Beacon Hill’s policies are driving up costs for families and businesses,” said Shortsleeve. “I’m grateful for his support and look forward to working together to tackle the root causes of our affordability crisis and restore accountability to state government.”
