Shortsleeve Statement Statement on Healey Energy Bill

Day after Brian Shortsleeve says he will Slash Utility Surcharges, Maura Healey realizes electric bills are too high.

One day after Brian Shortsleeve entered the race for Governor pledging to slash utility bill surcharges, Maura Healey reportedly awakened to the reality that skyrocketing electric bills have added to the unaffordability crisis in the Commonwealth.

“Maura Healey is too little, too late as usual,” said Shortsleeve spokesperson Holly Robichaud. “It was her actions that caused our electric bills to go through the roof, and only now that Brian Shortsleeve called her out and promised real reform is she taking this issue more seriously. What Healey really owes Massachusetts ratepayers is an apology for a winter’s worth of economic pain.”
