Shortsleeve Continues to Build Momentum

Shortsleeve Has the Support of the People

BOSTON, MA –  Today, Marine Corps Veteran, successful business leader, and proven government reformer Brian Shortsleeve, Republican candidate for governor, expressed excitement on fundraising momentum that continues to build for his candidacy.

“I’m proud that our campaign has raised more money from people than anyone else in this race. That’s a reflection of the strong grassroots support we’re building across our state.  This campaign is powered by hardworking people who believe in our message and want real leadership that puts taxpayers first. Every contribution, large or small, represents someone who shares our vision for accountable, transparent government, and I’m deeply grateful for their trust and support,” said Shortsleeve.

In October, Shortsleeve raised more than $142,465 which is more than twice the amount Mike Kennealy has raised from supporters.

“As we have seen in many past races, you can’t buy genuine support.  You have to earn it. I’m proud that our campaign is powered by people.  Every dollar we raise comes from individuals who believe in accountability, fiscal responsibility, and honest leadership. That’s the kind of support that can’t be bought, and it’s exactly what will carry us to victory in both the Primary and General Elections,” added Shortsleeve.
