BOSTON, MA – Today, the campaign of Brian Shortsleeve announced the release of its first television ad of the year, titled “Mass Backwards,” a first-of-its-kind political ad filmed through a car’s backup camera.
The ad highlights what the campaign calls the growing list of failures under Maura Healey, portraying a state moving in the wrong direction on affordability, public safety, and economic opportunity.
“Massachusetts is headed in the wrong direction, and people feel it every single day when they pay their utility bill, their property taxes, or put a down payment on a home,” said Shortsleeve.
“This ad shows exactly what’s happening: we’re going backwards. While Beacon Hill makes excuses, families are getting squeezed. It doesn’t have to be this way. On Day One, we’re going to turn this state around and start moving forward again.”
The “Mass Backwards” ad will begin airing statewide this week and will be promoted across digital platforms.
