Maura Healey’s policies are driving residents to lower cost states like New Hampshire
BOSTON, MA – Today, Marine Corps Veteran, successful business leader, and proven government reformer Brian Shortsleeve, Republican candidate for governor commented on Mass Fiscal Alliance Executive Director Paul Craney and several New Hampshire State Representatives visiting the Massachusetts State House to highlight how New Hampshire is gaining businesses and jobs at Massachusetts’ expense.
“Maura Healey is the best thing that ever happened to the state of New Hampshire,” said Shortsleeve. “Working families and job creators in Massachusetts need relief from crippling taxes, and state-mandated fees that drive up energy costs. New Hampshire shouldn’t get used to it though: next year when I become governor we’re going to create an environment where our people and businesses can thrive, not force them north, south, and west to lower cost states.”
Shortsleeve also called attention to recent polling showing that a third of Massachusetts voters have considered moving out of state because of the high cost of living by releasing a satirical mock-up of a new state flag should Healey be reelected, featuring a moving truck.
