SHORTSLEEVE PAYS SPEAKING FEE FOR MASSGOP CONVENTION

Shortsleeve Pays $50,000 to Show His Commitment to Republican Party

BOSTON, MA – Today, Marine Corps Veteran, successful business leader, and proven government reformer Brian Shortsleeve, Republican candidate for governor, officially filed for the Republican State Party Convention by paying the $50,000 speaking fee to give remarks on April 25th, 2026 at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

“I’m a proud Republican. For decades I have worked to help support our Party and our candidates. Today, I am paying the fee to show my commitment both to winning this race and to our party,” said Shortsleeve. “In order to defeat Maura Healey and return commonsense governance to the corner office, we need a candidate who is raising money across the state, winning endorsements, and delivering a message of change for Massachusetts. I look forward to making my case to the delegates at the convention.”

Despite being outspent by millions of dollars, recent polling by The Boston Globe and Suffolk University shows Shortsleeve leading the GOP primary by 9 and 16 points over Mike Kennealy and Mike Minogue, respectively. In addition to raising the most money from grassroots donors, Shortsleeve has been the winner of numerous online polls and the only straw poll so far this cycle.
