Shortsleeve Leads Republican Field

BOSTON, MA –  Today, Marine Corps Veteran, successful business leader, and proven government reformer Brian Shortsleeve, Republican candidate for governor, issued the following statement reacting to the UNH Bay State poll showing him leading the GOP primary by nine points.

“Republican voters support Brian Shortsleeve because he will make Massachusetts affordable for working people with lower taxes and utility fees, ending the spending on the migrant crisis, and repealing the MBTA Communities Act regulations that Mike Kennealy authored. In just a few months, he has established himself as the clear frontrunner for the nomination despite spending a fraction of what Kennealy has spent,” said Holly Robichaud, strategist.

Two weeks ago Shortsleeve won the first straw poll for the Republican Primary by a large margin of 68% to 32%.

“This early momentum shows that Brian’s message is resonating.  Voters are ready for bold leadership and real results, and they support his mission for Massachusetts,” added Robichaud.

Shortsleeve is dominating this GOP Primary in actual funds raised from donors and now support from voters.
