Shortsleeve Calls Out Healey for Another Election Conversion

BOSTON, MA – Today Marine Corps Veteran, successful business leader, and proven government reformer Brian Shortsleeve, Republican candidate for governor, called out Maura Healey for flip flopping on bringing in more natural gas into Massachusetts.

“Healey was against natural gas before she was for it.  As Attorney General, she blatantly bragged about stopping two natural gas pipelines that would have lowered the cost on ratepayers.  Now facing a tough re-election battle, she is in favor.  It is clear that when it comes to protecting the taxpayers and ratepayers, Healey cannot be trusted,” said Shortsleeve. “With the high delivery fees and the blocking of the pipelines, Healey has proven she doesn’t care about costs.”
